Whether you're looking for a night of shared laughter or an evening of deep conversation, there will be something special for attendees to experience. Express Jewish Joy and Resist Antisemitism with Yohay Sponder
Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 PM (Mandeville Auditorium, UCSD)
The hilarious Yohay Sponder will be coming to the UCSD campus for a night of comedy and celebration. Yohay is an internationally recognized Israeli comedian with over 20 years of experience. He has performed around the world and is bringing his unique perspective and comedy to San Diegans. His wit and sharp sense of humor bridges cultures, pokes fun at everyday life, and leaves audiences in stitches.

Discuss Jewish Life and Literature with Yossi Klein Halevi
Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 PM (Price Center Theater, UCSD)
The following night, Hillel is hosting an evening with Yossi Klein Halevi, a best-selling author, journalist, and one of today’s most prominent voices on Jewish identity and Israel.
Yossi’s books, including Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor and Like Dreamers, address everything from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to Jewish spiritual life with empathy, nuance, and insight. At UCSD, he’ll speak on the challenges of antisemitism in San Diego and the world at large, the evolving identity of American Jews, and the deepening connections between Jewish communities around the world.
This is a must-attend event for anyone interested in thoughtful dialogue about Israel, identity, and what it means to be Jewish in today’s world.
